David Gatherer

David is a popular and respected coach with a wealth of teaching and competition experience.

His enthusiasm and encouragement allows people to push themselves out of their comfort zones while never pushing horse or rider beyond their capabilities. David is a B.E. Accredited coach and holds a UKCC LEVEL 3.

Ailsa Gilchrist

Ailsa started competing with her first horse at 18, which she evented to advanced level. However her next horse didn’t like mud! and so she developed an interest in dressage, training with both Stephen Clarke and Carl Hester, competing with great success at national level.

Ailsa gained 5 Scottish championships and competed at the Nationals on 6 occasions winning reserve nation champion on two occasions. Ailsa teaching style is focussed on giving riders confidence and encouragement. Ailsa is BHSAI.

Yvonne MacFarlane

Brought up in Caithness with a Pony Club background, Yvonne left home at 17 years old to work with horses. Since then she has worked in a Variety of yards throughout the UK covering dressage, show jumping and cross country disciplines.

Yvonne qualified as a BHSI in September 1995 and is equally comfortable teaching on the flat or working over fences. My ethos is to training horse and rider is that “Every day is a learning Day” around horses. Her spare time is spent being a Pony Club Mum, ahh the circle of life!

Olivia Wilmot

Olivia Wilmot (née Haddow) has been riding since she could walk. Eventing has been her passion since she was a child and she competed in her first pony club one day event when she was 8 years old.

Since then, she has come up through the grades of Pony Club and British Eventing. She has represented Great Britain on several occasions at European championships at Pony, Junior and Young rider levels and other international competitions. Olivia holds regular monthly Clinics at Greenfields, including pre-season Arena training.
